Enjoy a tranquil farmhouse break at Coolanowle Organic Farm. The two tastefully converted cottages have been lovingly restored from limestone stock barns. They are surrounded by three acres of beech wood gardens - ideal for the children to run around and play safely. The farm at Coolanowle covers around 250 acres. Guests are most welcome to visit and view all aspects of the farm. Dairying is the main enterprise with eighty milking cows. Milk, beef and lamb are produced on the farm and sold locally to restaurants, butchers and, where possible, direct to the public. Fruit and vegetables, as well as our own organic beef and lamb, can be bought locally at Carlow Farmers' Market, which is held on Saturdays and also at the farm.
