South Aran Centre provides a unique introduction to the beauty, peace and mystical nature of the Aran Islands. Our new guesthouse is situated in an exceptional location on the western side of the island, with absolutely amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. The Organic and Wild Café at Fisherman's Cottage serves delicious and healthy organic food, complemented by daily fresh fish and abundance of the ocean. As Slow Food members we aim to do what we can to provide tasty local food that is unique to this island, so that our visitors can take with them memories deeply rooted in this special place in South Aran. The centre provides lifestyle and other courses, retreats, and seminars in a purpose built classroom.
