Converted from an old hay barn at Gibbs Hill Organic Farm, the hostel accommodates up to eighteen people in three rooms. The three rooms each have six bunks. The hostel is centrally heated throughout, and to reduce energy consumption the barn is insulated with special panels. Low energy light bulbs are used throughout. To the rear of the hostel is a large decking area where guests may enjoy the evening sun, and also access the stables by the wooden staircase. Basic items of food may be purchased. Guests may order, in the evening for the next day, a continental breakfast [£5 pp] and packed lunches [£6 pp] from the farmhouse. Evening meals are available in the farmhouse [groups only]. Organic produce available locally.
