Genesis Eco-Oasis is a small eco lodge in the heart of the Yucatan. Most of the cabaņas are stucco with thatch roofing for elegant simplicity and comfort. Tents available. Located near the recent excavation of Ek Balam, in the traditional Mayan Pueblo. Relax in a garden hammock, or swim in our pristine, chemical-free, bio-filtered swimming pool. Feast on regional specialties made onsite by our Mayan cook. We pride ourselves on fresh, healthy, seasonal meals with a Mayan and Yucatecan flair. We support local farms' business, as well as individual people and families whenever we can. On the edge of a traditional village, the retreat provides opportunities to make contact with locals.
