Nab Cottage is between Grasmere and Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District, with beautiful views over the lake. It dates from the 16th century and stands alone near the shores of Rydal Water, surrounded by mountains. Many original features remain - beams, flagged floors, spice cupboard, mullioned windows, open fire. Enjoy our homemade bread and a long breakfast. The atmosphere is easy going and guests can enjoy spending time inside. Outside, the views, and the walks, are stunning. Excellent low level routes and longer treks directly from the cottage. Packed lunches, dinner or lighter snacks by arrangement using fresh, organic and fairtrade ingredients. Massage, Reiki, Shiatsu available.
