Rouge is a small hamlet roughly in the centre of the Ariege. The hamlet is at about 600m, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Our house is one of the original farmhouses, now renovated. There is a quiet room on the first floor, opening on to the balcony. The house is surrounded by fields and forest, with walks in every direction. Continental breakfast includes fruit juice, homemade breads and jams. We can provide a full evening meal using local produce, including fruit and vegetables from our vegetable garden. Our vegetable garden is being run on organic principles, and we will try to use organic produce and fairly traded products for imported ingredients. The cost of dinner includes aperitif and wine with the meal or fruit juices.
