The two cottages are on a remote smallholding with naturally reared sheep, poultry, bees, and sometimes pigs, as well as extensive vegetable, fruit and flower gardens. The focus is on 'green living’ - our electricity comes from renewable sources [wind and water turbines], and we have solar water heating panels. A range of home produce is available in season. Pure spring water on tap. The Clyn is in a superb setting, high on the edge of open moorland, and ideally situated for walking, mountain biking, fishing, bird-watching. National Trust / Elan Valley Trust moorland, RSPB reserves, the Elan Valley reservoirs are all literally on the doorstep. Children welcome. Dogs on leads welcome. Short breaks available.
