Quinta do Pereiro is an old farm which has been revived by its present owners since 1990. Organic farming is practised on a small scale. The farm consists of 8 hectares of land, part of which are old and planted olive trees, citrus fruits, vegetable garden, old and newly planted cork oaks. The guest house, which is self-catering and equipped with all modern facilities, is 100 metres from the main house. The house has its own deep well water and the whole farm is powered with solar electricity. We also have a man made lake which is fed by two natural springs for irrigation, swimming and fishing. There are several restaurants nearby for those who wish to try the local food, which is good and inexpensive.
