Kingcombe is a study centre offering holidays, courses, bed and breakfast, and guided walks. Situated in converted farm buildings at the heart of Lower Kingcombe beside the River Hooke, the centre is on four acres of riverside pasture and is surrounded by the Kingcombe Meadows Nature Reserve. The food we cook for our guests is seasonal, organic if possible and local. The garden is chemical free and we grow a substantial amount of our own fruit and vegetables. We have a small flock of sheep at Kingcombe, so produce our own lamb. Pork and beef is sourced from farms along the Lower Kingcombe Valley. The milk and cream come from a nearby organic dairy farm from cows grazing in this valley and the next.
