South Penquite is a 200 acre organic beef and sheep farm situated high on Bodmin Moor between the villages of Blisland and St Breward. Our small campsite is intended to have a low impact on the surroundings, with solar heated hot water and rainwater harvesting for the campsite showers, and a wind turbine and thirty solar PV panels on a barn roof. We sell home produced minted lamb burgers and mutton sausages at the farmhouse. The local village shop/cafe is within walking distance and will cater to all your other needs. A demonstration farm for the Soil Association and West Country Rivers Trust, our farm walk takes in diverse wildlife habitats, nearly a mile of beautiful riverbank and a Bronze Age hut settlement.
