Swallow Cottage is an award winning architect designed barn conversion on the historic Fowlescombe estate, a 470 acre working mixed organic farm in the South Hams. If you'd like some of our own award winning beef, rare breed lamb, or pork, there's a supply of steaks, chops, joints, mince, bacon sausages etc in a freezer. There's also an array of homemade ready meals such as beef in red wine, lamb and apricot pasties, and vegetarian meals. You'll have access to the whole estate. The views are glorious, the sunsets fabulous. Wonderful wildlife - snowdrops, bluebells, hares, barn owls. Children are very welcome. See friendly rare breed Irish Moiled cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens and ducks. Help feed the animals.
