Howbarrow Organic Farm is a 15 acre smallholding on the southern fells of Cumbria, a short distance from the attractive priory village of Cartmel. Our one bedroom cottage is a contemporary renovation of a farm barn, with oak beams, slate floored wet room and a kitchen. King size bed, organic cotton sheets, wood burning stove. Pets are welcome in the cottage. Electricity is supplied from farm's wind turbine and solar array. The farm lies off the beaten track in a quiet part of the Lake District - a wonderful place to see local wildlife. We have visitors who have returned every year since 1988.
