Burnlaw is set within 40 acres of organic pastures, woodland and gardens in the North Pennine hills. The centre consists of converted stone buildings, part of an ancient upland farm. Available for use all year round, the centre’s focus is a large light filled room used for celebrations, workshops, conferences and retreats. Accommodation is in bunk houses [fourteen beds] and bedrooms [five beds]. There's also a camping and activities field. The centre can be booked for anything from half day workshops to residential courses. Our small loose knit community is informed by Baha’i, Buddhist, environmental and cooperative thinking. We farm organically 45 acres of pasture, old and new woodland, wetland, orchard and kitchen garden.
