Greenway Cottage is set in the grounds of Lydbrook House, with acres of private walks and the award winning restaurant, The Garden Cafe just a short walk across the lawn.  The cottage is equiped with gas central heating, wood burning stove, digital TV and DVD, wireless broadband and the best views of the river Wye from the dining room and both bedrooms.  Outside are stone terraces with chiminea for barbeques and a bonfire area, again with views over the river valley.  You are also right on the edge of the Forest of Dean - not only do you have immediate access to everything the Forest of Dean and River Wye has to offer - walking, cycling, canoeing, fishing, horse riding or just sitting on the river bank doping nothing - you are also less than an hour from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Monmouth, Hereford and Bristol. 

If you just fancy a night or two away from it all you can stay in the Malthouse, also set in te grounds of Lydbrook House.  This 18th C building has the Garden Cafe restaurant on the ground floor and two en suite double bedrooms and a massive dining/sitting room on the top floor.  It has digital TV, DVD and wireless broadband.  It has its own pond garden and bonfire area.  Available as B&B or self catering.  B&B £60 per double room, self catering £300 per week.  Both properties have cots and single bed available.
